I just came across this in my general audio/video reading. Nu Force, a company I have really just became familiar with, due to our readers on this forum, has come out with, what in my opinion looks to be a solid product. The Icon, is a miniature amplifier that can be driven by an I-pod, PC, MAC, or CD player using its analog inputs. Also, it has a USB DAC, whereby it can play digital files, and be used as a headphone amplifier.
The Icon can be used to improve the sound of your desktop system, or a small audio system. At 12 watts per channel, you would need very efficient speakers. It comes in a variety of colors, and cost $250.00. Thoughts and Opinions? |
