Marantz Releases the AV8003 Preamplifier and MM8003 Power Amplifier
Marantz has announced it is releasing its new AV8003 preamplifier and MM8003 powr amplifier products in the US. The preamplifier boasts a multizone processor for what has become a standard set of 7.1 channels to three different zones. It will also include 1080p video upscaling and support for HDMI 1.3, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master and Deep Color technologies. For those interested in radio, the preamplifier includes support for HD, XM, and Sirius radio technologies.
The MM8003 power amplifier privdes 140 Watts to eight channels, with the capability of being used as a 5.1 or 7.1 channel system. XLR connections are featured for professional end users. Other features include custom filter capacitors, ultra-wide bandwidth current feedback technology, and toroidal transformers. The the AV8003 is available for $2,599 and the MM8003 is available for $2,399. Both come with the new copper chassis. |
