I heard through the grapevine that the new reference amps from Mark Levinson will be something to behold.
$50,000 for starters. Won't easily fit into a rack as they are mainly designed for the Asian markets. They supposedly crap all over the 33's and the 33h's and compete favorably with the Krell Evolution and Halcro amps at comparable prices. That is a BIG statement. I worked hard to get my amps into my rack and I am not excited about the idea of parking MONSTER amps on the floor of my theater. At the same time, I would be lying to you to say I wasn't compelled by the idea of what they can do.... Did anyone hear them in Seattle at the Definitive event (I didn't go)?

I too have heard the new amps kick the pants off the recent ML lines, from reliable sources.
I am waiting to hear them to see for myself!

I`ve got to say Jerry, that IS one heck of a statement. ML amps are excellent. To say these new ones make the 33`s look like nothing........
How big are they? |

I'm looking forward to hearing these and am glad to see new products from them. I think the existing ML line has grown a bit long in the tooth.
