OK, we all listen to some things our friends might not like, for me lately, I’ve been listening to the Arctic Monkey’s. Reminds me of old 80’s punk with some funk and pop thrown in and makes for some really fun listening.
What are you listening to???? KT

I can't really say this qualifies as rockin' out, weird for sure. Chesky records DVD-A disk "Dr. Chesky's Magnificent Fabulous, Absurd & Insane Musical 5.1 Surround Show is a mix of music and sounds that will give your 5.1 setup a real workout. More of a demo disk really, but interesting all the same.

I recently was passed a sampler called
"Future Sounds 26" with a ton of different artists on it. Weird because it was a sampler and I listened to it non stop for about 3 days while working. One song is called "Dropkick queen of the weekend" by the Dudes and it should be all over the radio (if it isn't already since I don't do radio much). Cocteau Twins - The Pink Opaque David Bowie w/ SRV - Rehearsal Tapes Shuggie Otis - Inspiration Information Clifford Brown - Memorial Album Yesterday I broke into a spontaneous dance while listening to Steve Earle cover "Breed." That actually qualifies as weird I guess. Watched Heaven & Hell from Radio City Music Hall last night. Really good! PS I love Kate and actually spoke to her on the phone once. You may worship me now. |
