Developed in tandem with the release of the new HDMI 1.3 format, two new switchers from Gefen make their appearance at CEDIA. The Gefen 3x1 and 4x1 HDMI 1.3 Switchers connect three and four sources to one HDMI display.

Ideal for integrating a variety of home entertainment sources and accessing them through the same display, both switchers offer full 1080p support. This means high definition visuals are displayed at their most vibrant levels with complete HDCP-compliance. The video performance is unaffected by protection keys embedded in the content.

Multi-channel digital audio and high definition video are fed to the display from each source, when selected. Users have the option of using front panel buttons, the IR or the wired remote to switch between sources.

Priced competitively at $179 and $199, these new Gefen HDMI 1.3 Switchers offer a simple and effective way to integrate games, satellite television systems and HD DVD systems, allowing an always-on, always-connected method of multiple-source, one-display integration.
