I recently purchased the yamaha Rx 3800. Love the receiver. It has the ability to hook up to the internet to receive internet music through a cat 5 line. I don't want to hard wire this receiver, I want to use my wireless network to connect my laptop to the receiver. Can anyone tell me if the Yamaha YBA-10 bluetooth device can accomplish this? If not what other device should I be looking at? Thanks

bump.
I'm interested in this subject too... also wondering, if the ethernet connection is the only way to recieve firmware updates to this unit, or does the RS232 connection do the job? If it does, then the 1800 may really be the better bang for the buck... curious because I'm on the verge of purchasing one of these two model! sengert. PS. Posted a similar question over at audioholics.com forum 'cause I know there are a lot of Yammie guys over there. http://forums.audioholics.com/forums...119#post401119 |
