The more I play with this Denon the more neat things I find!
I think I stumbled on to the on-line maintenance menu, I can control my receiver from my computer! By entering the IP address of my Denon into my web browser I get these pages, ![]() ![]() as you can see I haven't run the Audyssey MultEQ XT auto setup since I reset the receiver for the firmware update. ![]() There are other pages but you get the idea. I can do everything from adjust the volume, rename inputs & change inputs to adjusting the level of each speaker! It looks like everything I can do with the remote in the menu I can do on the computer. I don't know what exactly I would do with this but my dealer probably does. Moose,
Very web savvy of you to cut out the URL.... I was going to change your theater to Ken's TV system or something equally silly just for ****s and giggles! I assume the web access is password protected correct??

Cool looking piece of gear. Now how does it sound producing traditional 2 channel music and 5.1 or 7.1 movies?

That's why I was careful to cut out the URL, I figured some joker would wake me up this morning with Techno punk if I didn't! I read the online maintenance feature is supposed to be thru Denons secure servers so this may not be online maintenance, I'll try to log in to my receiver from work tomorrow & see what happens, this online menu may have come up because it's connected thru Ethernet cable to my home computer |

My room is too small for 7.1 but this thing rocks 5.1 movies! I am very happy with the Denon! This is a big improvement over my old Sony V444ES receiver! |

Well what I thought was the maintenance menu wasn't!
I am able to control my receiver from my computer but when I tried to log on from work it was a no go. It is a neat feature though. |
