After winning a Runco CL420 on this site I realized that I needed to totally renovate our family room.
Marantz SR 7001
Marantz DV 4001
B&W 685 fronts (I am really impressed with these)
B&W LCR 60 S3 Center
PSB Alpha B rear
PSB Sub
Pioneer 42" Plasma
And of course the Runco CL 420
Bell Expressvu 6000 HD satellite receiver
Wiring is all in the walls and mounting the plasma over the fireplace ment ripping 3 rows of brick off and then building the surround and over mantle.
After reading this forum since it started I can't understand why there are so many recommendations for Yamaha and Onkyo receivers after auditioning both i must say the Marantz blew them away.
And that Runco is fantastic.

Many congratulations on the Runco. What a great prize. As far as Onkyo and Yamaha go, I think if you read the reviews by Andrew Robinson, you will find when ALL things are taken into consideration, especially when talking about connectivity, HDMI, and pricing, at the time Onkyo and Yamaha were leading the pack.
However, that is not to say that there were not any other choices out there. Marantz makes a fine receiver. Congrats again on your Home Theater. Very well put together and neat. Like the wood in the room!!
